Let me explain. One of the reasons American's say they hate football (Soccer) is because they have to sit through 45 minutes of football before any kind of commercial is aired. Over here in the UK, we fucking hate adverts with a passion. I was just wodering why the fuck you can't go 2 minutes without an advert? | |

Americans don't want commercials either. It's the companies and the sports themselves that want them. American aired sports are VERY unprofitable if no commercials can be inserted regularly. Soccer draws very little revenue and would continue to do so if it got really popular here just because it would be impossible to insert an adequate amount of commercials compared to other US sports. | |

I remember back in the 90's when I watched spongebob, I'd only get 1 commercial every 30 minutes. Now I get like 3 every half hour | |

This shits got to stop. If anything I bet by the year 2021 it will be 20 minutes of commercial and 10 minutes of actual programming.
