Just recently youtube has updated their homepage interface, and already I'm pissed off due to the incoherent garbled mess of how everything is presented to me. A while back I had the option of testing out the new home page, which I did simply for shits & giggles, but I changed it back as soon as I noticed that my "notification box" ( you know: the one that notifies about friend invites, comments, messages etc) was gone. What the fuck happened to it? I can't find anything anymore?! That right now is my biggest pique with this update: the notifcation box itself has completely disappeared from the front page, presumably off to some obscure location in which I'll never locate now.  Of course now the page spends forever in a year loading itself beacuse it has to display EVERYONE's favorites, likes, dislikes etc. I also have to click a tab to see my subscriptions instead of it just being there right when I go to the youtube hompage.

Nothing productive has come from this update, I have to do more clicking around than I did before, and even then I don't have the slightest clue what I'm getting into. This is youtube for you, just when I get comfortable and familiar with the interface & layout, they go and change everything again. It's almost like the enjoy making things more complicated than they need to be! Ugh, I need to go for a walk.

If anyone knows how I can check my comments quickly without going into my account, inbox and then comments, please tell me.

Yeah well it;'s all about the advertising now a days and how much they can fit where ever they can.  That is how they make money, and they make alot of it.

Google has pocketed quite a lot of change, but I guess it's true what they say: "You can never have enough."

I saw the new interface and was confused but it's alright after you get used to it, however the combination of the alerts of actual private messages in the inbox is all mixed and matched with comments. I'll get the same crap in my inbox when they already have a comments update on the side, what gives?
