It is tragic and very early for him to die.

I am however having a hard time feeling totally sorry for a man who became a total joke of life on so many levels.  That is all.

The real tragedy is that one of the main reasons he was so "wacko" (and that he had such strange child-like tendencies as an adult) is that he was essentially denied a real childhood - he's been perfoming publicly (and been popular) since the age of, what, six?

It seems that he may have been on some "meds" while preparing for his upcoming tour, and the people around him either were afraid to warn him of the dangers, or he ignored them, thought he'd live forever. Same thing with Elvis. Ain't easy not being able to go out in public without attracting a crowd, it screws up your head.

Very talented guy, but very messed up. Maybe they go hand in hand. Glad I'm not that talented...

Why does it matter?  I didn't even know the guy.  Sure it's sad for his family and friends but why should it be for anybody else?  People die everyday but only the famous ones are put on tv.

Not sure how to feel, I loved the music, I loved the dance moves but I completely forgot about him when I didn't hear hardly any of his music on the radio. The last I've heard from him was "Blood is on the Dance Floor" and that was it. It's sad that he's gone yes, but they need to chill with the shit on TV. He's been put to rest, let him rest he's gone, get over it. >.<

I think that it's total bullshit that people are STILL talking about this on the News, I mean, he died in JUNE and I just saw a broadcast about the musical for Micheal Jackson today, in the middle of SEPTEMBER; that's bullshit. We should have a rule that once a celebrity dies, we can only talk about that death on the news for a month... unless it's Heath Ledger, who is a legend. *-*

I disagree with your statement Patrick. Micheal Jackson is a legend as well. Regardless of his choices later in life, which I admit were poor ones, he changed the world of pop music with his songs. Being on top changes people, almost always for the worse. Micheal was a victim of his own fame and stardom. It's sad, really. Yes, we are disgusted for what he became, but what we should remember him for is what he was before that. An inspirational musician.

Hello forum community. I'm Josh, and Patrick has greasy hair. Trust me, I go to school with him. He also has a crush on a girl named Chelsey Howells. But you didn't hear that from me ;)

OH DEAR.

I dunno if you realized it Arch, but he's using a pic of me as his icon. He doesn't really look that good in real life, nobody does; except me.

And Micheal Jackson IS a legend, I just don't like how much people are still talking about him.

It's unbeleivable but then again so are many other things about that guy.  He was the king of POP though after all.
